Laying the Foundation for Long-Term Impact

Quarterly FCA Ministry Update

– Winter 2026

These past few months have been about building — not just programs, but structure. Not just activity, but sustainability.

God has been laying a foundation that we believe will support long-term gospel impact across Northwest Wisconsin.

🏐 RCE / FCA Volleyball Club

  • 6 committed coaches serving this season

  • Coaches fully trained through FCA’s equipping process

  • Uniforms ordered and practices underway

  • Emphasis on both skill development and Christ-centered leadership

  • Intentional culture-setting happening from day one

Why this matters:
We are not just forming teams. We are forming leaders.

Please continue praying for:
Kayla, Jamie, Kay, Mikayla, Julia, and Jackie as they shepherd athletes this year.

⚽ Futsal League – Now in Full Swing

Launched in February —

  • 10U athletes participating

  • Weekly athlete huddles taking place

  • Every athlete received a Sports Bible and an FCA journal

  • Parent huddles happening during practices and games — creating space for parents to grow in their faith as well

This league is already proving to be more than a sports platform.
It is a discipleship environment for both athletes and families.

FCA Sports Development Fund – A Major Step Forward

Year-end giving was a great success

  • Approximately $30,000 raised for our regional FCA Sports Development Fund

  • These funds are what allowed us to launch the futsal league

  • They are also creating margin for future growth and development

This was a foundational moment for our region.
We are stewarding these resources carefully and strategically.

Facility Partnership Conversations

We are currently in conversations with a local facility (Barron Ice Arena) that could potentially allow us to use their space for FCA ministry long-term.

This would significantly increase our consistency, visibility, and sustainability.

Please pray for:

  • Clear direction

  • Open doors

  • Right timing

  • Wisdom in pacing growth

We want to move at God’s speed — not ours.

FCA Training Camp – Kansas City

I had the opportunity to attend a week-long FCA Training Camp

  • Deep leadership development

  • Strong networking with other FCA leaders

  • Meaningful regional & national connections

  • Strategic conversations about long-term growth

This was an important investment in sharpening leadership capacity for what God is building here.

Growing Church Partnerships

God has also opened doors with local churches for partnership and resourcing.

I have been able to present at youth groups, Sunday school gatherings and use facilities at:

  • Providence Reformed Baptist, RL

  • Living Water, Cameron

  • Faith Baptist, Chetek

  • Red Cedar, RL

  • Maranatha, RL

  • Northern Lakes, Cumberland

These relationships are strengthening local alignment and expanding awareness of FCA’s mission.

    • 2 active sports platforms (Volleyball + Futsal)

    • 6 trained and equipped volleyball coaches

    • 5 volleyball tournaments completed

    • 20 trained and equipped Futsal coaches/volunteers

    • First futsal league successfully launched

    • 32 10U athletes receiving FCA Sports Bibles and journals

    • Parent discipleship happening weekly

    • $30,000 raised for regional development

    • New church partnerships forming

    • Facility conversations underway

This is what foundation-building looks like.

    • Protection over coaches and families

    • Continued spiritual fruit in athlete and parent huddles

    • Wisdom in stewarding development funds

    • Open doors and proper pacing with facility partnership

    • Endurance and clarity as ministry expands

Thank You

We are deeply grateful.

This quarter has not just been busy — it has been foundational.

Because of your partnership:

  • Athletes have Bibles in their hands.

  • Parents are growing in their faith.

  • Coaches are leading with confidence.

  • New ministry platforms are taking root.

We believe the foundation being laid now will produce fruit for years to come.

With appreciation,
Z
